There is a guy here in my town that makes really good cut out decals, he took the time to work with me to make these MSA decals and I think he did a good job in accommodating me in getting what I wanted, we couldn't find a horse that was exactly the same but I think that this one looks really cool, and I didn't bother him to include the " micro inc" under because I already took up alot of his time, He made the large decal (6"wide) and the 2 small ones (2.25"wide) for 10 bucks. I included his website, the file for this decal is saved on his computer if anyone needs one. He can do any size and any amount. PM me if you want the guys Email

More like "dilution of trademark." I'm not an attorney, but I mistaken for one a long time back.

Kevin, if you search the office supply places in your area or the internet, you can find water slide paper that is able to be printed with ink jet printers. Of course you would need a good clear picture of the object you want to print. Ken Fox turned me on to the water slide paper some years ago, when I was looking for it for another project.

I was trying to help other MSA enthusiasts out who like me had no luck in getting original MSA decals.
If in fact MSA is willing to sell their decals out to the public than I will not endorse my decal guy out of repsect for MSA and my apologies if I infringed on any copyrights.
If MSA is willing to send out decals than that is great!

I spoke to Maurice a while back and asked if there was any problem with making reproductions of the old 70s/80s era MSA decals. He said as long as it was done for no profit it was OK with him. I never could find a high resolution photo of that decal to use in making accurate reproductions (I want exact, not "close enough)...so I just gave up. I sure would like to see some reproductions made, though.

The decal in the above picture looks to be similar to the current decal/logo. It doesn't look like an exact copy, though. If in doubt, contact Maurice and ask him if it's a problem.

By the way, if anyone out there has an older MSA steel with a perfect logo, and has a high resolution camera, and would be willing to take some close-up, full frame, rock steady photos, I am still willing to invest in getting the decals made up. I know a bunch of people want them.
