Just hearing this guy play for the first time-fantastic- youtube is full of great examples of his style, but this is the most convincing faux organ i've heard on steel guitar- the phrasing and effects are pretty right on-

Dave is a very interesting player- one of my favorites because of his "outside the box" playing.
Also Curly Chalker had a nice organ sound
