I had the chance to buy a new 1203-4 basket at a good price, so I did, not wanting to miss out. Now I would like to determine if it is compatible with my magnet structure before it arrives next week. Whoa! I do not have the spider magnet, but not sure what the spider frames look like. Based on the pictures below of what I bought and the structure I have, did I get a bargain or an expensive Frisbie Smile

Your magnet appears to be from the Super Structure era.

Based on your photos, there shouldn't be any problem matching them up.

I'm curious as to what the print is on that white label just above the speaker terminals though there on your new basket.

OK, yes I see. 1203 imp. 4 ohm. I didn't remember any of them having the square frames. You should be good to go. These are nice sounding speakers. Enjoy!

The one with interchangeability issues are the old spider mags as you mentioned like this:
