I cannot believe you are going to let that insterment go for that price. Did you try putting it up her on the Forum. It may be 60 plus years old but it is a CLASIC. I Sold my '52 D8 Stringmaster in the early 80's for $250.00 and have regretted it every since. |

Sorry Tom, I wondered about that after I posted. Reolized you were just bringing to our attention what was going on at Ebay.
Jeff, I just checked it hit $510. |

Jeff's probably right. The guy at $510 really wants it. I put in a bid $250 up from the $510 and it simply moved his bid up over $750 so I'm sure there will be some bids at the end that will bump it into the $900 range. _________________ Steve |

Unless things have changed, all the action happens in the last few minutes on an item of value. |

It's up to a much more realistic $811.00 with hours yet to go. I'm not a betting man, but if I were, I'd say it will go over a grand. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

I have one just like it, and I love it. I use it for gigs backing hula dancers or for jam sessions (kanekapilas), when I know I won't be playing B11, the upper neck of my D8 Straingmaster. - Jack (NOT JOHN!) _________________ Jack Aldrich

I wonder if Abigail Ybarra wound either of the pu's on either of these guitars?also do you think there would be better tone on the older vs. The newer? _________________ I wanna go back to my little grass shack........ |

Interest in this pre-CBS Blond is picking up!
At 8:30 AM Eastern, the high bid is $920.
This Fender could go for closer to $1,000.
Auction ends in less than an hour. |
