A friend of mine decided I should have this one he picked up off Craig's List someplace in California.

It started out life as a 1920s Stromberg and along the way had the fingerboard and headstock swapped out and mutated into a 9 string lap guitar. I was stringing it Big Joe Williams style - E A DD G BB EE but a week or so back decided to see how it would work as a 6 string. I am planning to go back to using it as a 9 string though so gotta ask - does anybody out there play a 9 string and if so what tuning do ya use.
