We are going to have our annual jam on Sunday, March 17th. 11am-?. This is held at the Swansea Improvement Hall in Swansea, IL. This is a really great event in that we have a live band with live singers as opposed to BIAB tracks. Bring your guitar and amp. We set up round robin style. Play on all the tunes, or take a break and visit. Or play mine if you want. We will have food etc. I will let John Mcguire post about that information when he can fish his computer out from under his really heavy Emmons heave-ho guitar. Laughing His forklift isn't running at the moment. Seriously. This is a really fun event with a whole bunch of great people. And John's guitar is GREAT! Just have to get my jabs in when I can. Here's the directions.

I wondered if we'd ever see you, Mike. Just show up, it's pretty informal... no set program. We just try to cycle all the "sangerz" through. Sometimes there's about ten choruses of steel rides but everybody has a good time.

It is unfortunate for me that this overlaps with NFAA Indoor Nationals (http://nfaaindoornational.com). I am just on the other side of the Mississippi river and wish I could join you guys.

Have fun!

Like Steve said. This is for EVERYBODY. And Michael-the concrete is only 6 inches thick. Only rated for 3 push-pulls and couple Fender Twins. I think there's a few ruts in it from Steve's Twin. Very Happy Say hey to the Doc Holiday folks for me.

And John is talking about one in the fall that will be Saturday evening/night along with the Sunday day. So everyone that is for it, be sure to pimp John about it. He's the Grand Poohbah of the association. He wears a headdress just like on the Flintstones to the meetings. Seriously!!!

Sure you can join Michael. But you have to learn the secret handshake. From what I understand, it makes you walk funny for a couple days.

If anyone has some items they want to sell, bring them along. Perfect for anyone interested to put them through the paces. And of course, set down and play my gear too if you wish. Great place to try other stuff out.

Gary Sill will probably have some goodies there. He's got the latest and greatest that's out there.

You just hear things funny Fred. It's always a blast for me to hear what comes out of your amp. And it's always GREAT! It's really cool to have as many players as we do and hear their take on whatever tune we are playing. Just a great time. Fun to see everyone.

Try to make it Bill! You haven't made one yet. If you keep this up, we may not ever get to see one of those Elderberrie guitars. Smile
