Based on the above, and other examples from other players, I had Jim Burden make me a 5" bar. I also use a 12" piece of delrin just to find things. Just about any combination of notes is possible if you mute/block strings in-between the two notes you're after.

Hi David
In watching Junior play I don't see any bar slants that appear to be more the two or three frets apart.
I would like to hear something with slants that are more than that to get the idea of a 12" bar.
