I bought this guitar in October 2011. I used it on exactly one gig (a Gram Parsons Tribute concert). Other than that, it's been in my home studio as my main "teaching" guitar, played once or twice a week. It's in "almost new" condition.
Click picture for high res version.
It has the stock George L E-66 pickup, which has a pretty bright tone. Here's the copedent I have on it:
Price is $1900 + shipping. I'll change the copedent for an extra $100. Shipping weight in case is about 45 lbs.
Reason for selling: there's a lovely D-10 that has my name on it. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video

These were taken when I first received the guitar, before I added the two extra pedals.

Way to go, b0b; that Sunburst Carter is one fine-looking steel. I do have a light weight steel with me here for gigs. Man, does it make a difference. I usually end up with steels that are hernia producers. Can't resist their looks. The blue ETS is a quite a nice one too and somebody will snatch it. Take care, stevet |

That Carter had me about to choke on my gum and sell an ounce of gold....
It's only a short drive from here too, so I had to chain my foot to the table to control myself. _________________ Inlaid Star Guitar 2006 by Mark Giles. SD-10 4+5 in E9th; http://luthiersupply.com/instrument-gallery.html

I'm no stranger to Carter guitars, Richard. Also, the ETS was designed by Bud Carter - without those *!%$# little brass barbells! _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
