This week I will be in Europe on day job business, will be in Paris for the weekend, and wondered if there are any steel players working in the area. I know next weekend is "Steel Days Europe" in the Netherlands. Johan invited me to play and it would have been a once in a lifetime opportunity, but unfortunately, the work schedule is not going to allow that. Sad Next time I WILL plan better. Embarassed

Hey Bill,
Too bad you can't make Johan's show; I was happy to see you listed on the program. Oh well, maybe next year...

Anyway, if you don't dig up any steel in Paris, you might want to check out what's happening at Le Duc de Lombard, which is a really good jazz club in town. I was there a few weeks ago and caught Jonathan Kreisberg's quartet. Great show. You might want to eat before you go, though, as there isn't much on the food menu.

Enjoy,
Jimbeaux

Thanks Jim. Maybe I will check out the jazz club if there is no steel. Wish I thought through the schedule earlier Oh Well

Too bad theres no steel:

How about an afternoon at the Musee d'Orsay, and a slammin' meal with a few glasses of good wine and a walk along the Seine?

Paris ain't home. Go with the flow..and have a wonderful time.. If you'd like a recommendation or two for really good moderately priced (but great) dining..email me (email below)and I'd be glad to provide.

like Notre Dame Cathedral - a must see & it's free
The Louvre, Tuileries (free), Champ de Mars (free), Eiffel Tower, Trocadero (free) & Montmartre (free)
