Does anyone know what the covering material like on the gfi case is called and where it can be bought.\?

I am also looking for a MSA D10 case.

Tom, I believe Ozite is what it's called. I don't know a source for this exact material. You can probably get GFI to send you some of it.

www.partsexpress.com has some other carpet style coverings. I also have some material similar to this. This stuff is not as tightly knit as the Ozite though, and will pill and fuzz a lot.

I remember seeing somewhere online one of these products that is latex backed for better durability, but don't recall where.

Reliable Hardware has the latex backed Ozite (and any case hardware you need). They have a video on the link below on how to install the carpet.

I built a new case for a GFI Expo S-10 and used this. Its about the same as the OEM case material.

The OEM GFI case was a well built, but heavy case. The case was about as heavy as the S-10 guitar. I built a new case using Baltic Birch and it is much lighter.
