I just finished the upgrade on a Dobro Hound Dog I recently purchased. It now has a Tim Scheerhorn Cone assembly and Paul Beard Ebony capped Maple saddles. It came with a bone nut from the factory so I left it alone. You can follow the upgrade process and see what I did by visiting my website, http://www.bobsdobro.com. After upgrading this guitar, I was totally amazed at how REALLY GREAT it sounds!! Loud and "Growley", just like a Dobro SHOULD be! I love doing this upgrade almost as much as I love playing, so I'm looking for another project. I'm open to trading for a "low-end" square neck resophonic guitar plus cash, or I'll sell this one outright for $450, including case and you pay shipping.
