Lawdddddd,,I sho nuf remember them "Jimmy Rogers" get-to-gethers,,I use to go every year,thats where i first met my idol,,"Hank Thompson",,got his auto-graph,,and also met Pee Wee whitewing and Bob White,,(Hank's steel players),this was in 1953,my buddy and me hitch-hiked all the way from Shubuta to see them,also first met Elvis and the Evely Bros. there too,always had a good time up there,glad to see it's still going on....I met "Lefty Frizzell",,this was back when all the stars wore "Nuddie Suits",and ole Lefty was the sharpest dresser I ever saw....Jim,,hope yall have a good show this year,,Is Jess Pickard and Stanford Possie still playing?....
