I just phoned the Milennium Hotel (314-241-9500) in St. Louis to make reservations for Scotty's Int'l Steel Guitar Convention Aug 31 - Sep 3 and was told they're fully booked already - they are keeping a waiting list in case of cancellations. Rooms are still available at the overflow hotel, the Drury Plaza 1-800-325-0720.

I wouldn't worry about the Millenium being booked.
What with the long wait for elevators and the poor food service, I'd pick the Drury ahead of the Millenium anyway.
