Clint is going to be at the Allegany casino Sat. night. Does he tour with his band and if so dose he still have a steel player? Who would it be if he has one. I live 30 miles from the casino, sometimes I think I live to close Joe |

Back in the '90s and early 2000s, Jeff Peterson played steel for Clint, but he left the band |

Brett, you are right about Jeff Peterson. As you know, Clint Black was raised in Katy, Tx along with Jeff and the guitar played (forgot his name). He was a great guitar player and wrote most of the songs that Clint recorded.
Jeff Peterson is a great player and he used to get on the forum, but he kind of dropped out to nowhere.
Maybe Jeff will let us know where he is at and get back in touch with the forum.

Joe,
Clint and Jeff are long time friends. But for FYI, Clint has a brother Kevin that lives here in our area; probably still in Katy, Tx is a great singer in his own right and works around the houston area. |

I just called the casino to cancel my complimentary tickets to see Clint Black's one man show. He is performing without a band. Rather than seeing a man strumming a guitar and playing a harmonica--even though it is Clint Black--I will go to the local Legion and see a full band. |

Hayden Nicholas is the guitar player who was with Clint and wrote or co-wrote many of his songs. _________________ HagFan

Makes me wonder if he'll be doing an acoustic show or karaoke. |
