Is there going to be a Branson Jam this year? I haven't heard anything about it yet. I know Terry Bethel is terribly busy on the road this year and probably doesn't have have time to organize it this year but thought that someone from the area might be stepping in to do it. Just curious, as it looks like I may be up there about the first week of Aug.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Yes, there is going to be a Branson Jam, July 30th. Terry has several tip-top pickers lined up and it's going to be a great show. It starts at 11 a.m. and goes 'til ??? p.m. There are lots of restaurants and motels close by. And the Baldknobbers Theater seats about 1200. Let's pack it out this year! |

Jerry---You might remind Terry to send me a copy of some kind of hand bill and I'll copy it here and distribute a few---I talked to him about it at Siloam and he said he would. Thanks. Bill. |

Yes, the OzarkSGA will host their 14th(?) annual steel guitar show at the Baldknobbers Theater on July 30. Terry said there are about 12 players scheduled for the show. These are some of the players that Terry has scheduled:
Russ & Laney Hicks
Randy Beavers
Jerry & Austin
Jr. Knight
And the list goes on and on.
You can tune into my show on SteelRadio.com this Saturday (5/13)@ 8PM CST as Terry will be my in studio guest and get the full list of talent.
Miss Lana

Sounds like a lot of fun.
The wife & I have hotel reservations for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Branson.
I need expert advice on what entertainment to see Friday Night, Saturday, and Saturday Night?
I know that the Sunday JAM will be most fun.

Tom--One of the relitively unknowns is the Joey Riley show in the mornings (I think) at the Caravelle theatre (across from Gilleys) where Tom Brumely plays. |

I'll be picking on that one. Really looking forward to it. That's always one of the best shows that I play. Terry does a great job of getting it together. The back up band is always top notch. |

Ditto to everyone thing that has been said. Last year was our first year and do not plan on missing another if health holds together. Really looking forward to this years show.
Hey Terry! Do you have a deal with the hotel next door this year? Haven't seen info on it unless I missed it. Also really look forward to having you at our CISGA show in June! Gonna be a blast!

Rich, I called the Baldknobbers the other day. The price is just a bit higher than last year. They are $42.50 + tax. Just tell them you are with Terry's steel show. Donna |

Hey Scotty,it would be nice if you'd play a song on my set. If I could get the tone of that frypan on my steel that would be great. |
