This guitar is totally PRISTINE! Some how I wound up with 2 of these and I can only play ONE at a time. I just want to get my most of money back on one of them! There's not a lot to say about the Beard Gold Tone Signature Model. If you're a dobro player, I'd be preachin to the choir. If you're not, what ever I said would sound like a sales pitch, so suffice it to say that Beard design and (especially) the set up are second to none IMHO! Those are not blemishes on the photo of the back - they're reflections... it's like a mirror! There is no case with this one. Asking $550 shipped to lower 48 or MIGHT consider a partial trade for a Regal or "Dobro" brand spider/cone import reso (I want to do some experimenting). 817-944-3895.

I want to thank Ron for pointing out that there was a similar Paul Beard PBS on eBay, selling for $350. He had me going until I checked out what's really on eBay. Here is my response:

Ron, I checked out the one on ebay ... it's a total 'beater' - separated neck, poor finish, broken case. If you have to do a partial restore on this, the cost for fixing it could go way over $500! The $350 is the opening bid, not the final sales price... it will be interesting to see what this one goes for. Personally, I wouldn't touch it if he gave it to me. The new ones on ebay are around $700 ... so don't sell your's too cheaply!! Mine is totally flawless and in like new condition, so I'll keep the price where it is. Thanks again for the input!

With that, I did pick up a case for the one I have for sale and it goes with the guitar. I'm adding the picture as we speak. Thanks again, Ron for a great "heads-up"!

Hey Guys,

I just purchased a different Resonator from Bob and I can tell you that his guitars are everything that he says they are.

He listed my guitar as immaculate and boy he was not lying at all. The guitar looks brand new. You will get a great value from this gentleman and the guitar will be what he says it is.

It's up for sale again. A forum member agreed to buy it, so I turned down a couple of potential buyers only to find out he had backed out of the deal.

I have another sale pending receipt of money. I see they edited out the name of the individual who didn't keep his word and backed out of the previous sale. Sorry if telling his name violated protocol, just thought other forum members would want to know ... There has to be a lot of trust involved in these transactions where expensive instruments are shipped and money is mailed. Anyhow, if I violated some taboo ... my bad, won't happen again!
