Over the last year or so, I've had the pleasure to play guitar in a local Austin band, Fingerpistol, with Neil in the steel chair.

Neil is such a great guy, always has a great story, and I like to think we've hit it off pretty well musically. It's always fun, good night or bad night. This was recorded right off the console at the White Horse a few weeks ago. It's live, so a couple of warts, but nice vibe and Neil plays some good stuff..

BTW, Neil is teaching in the Austin area if anybody is looking for a good teacher who is also a fun guy to hang with. Drop me a note and I can hook you up, or we're at the White Horse 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, 7PM..

Thanks, for sharing this Bill. It's so good to hear Neil is still out there playing and teaching.

If I had a time machine I'd set it to 40 years ago this month and head down to Oliver's in Boston: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i5wshI6n90

Neil looks great, he never ages, I saw him back before he moved to Austin, he looks the same.

Great pedal seel instructor and can he tell stories about Nashville back in the 1960's.

Hollywood, Florida wants him back.

Today, if Neil was to return to Hollywood, Florida he maybe in for a big surprize regarding his old neigborhood. Neil departed for Austin prior to the completion of the new Young Circle park & entertainment center, his apartment over looked the old park. Also across the street from his apartment building is a new luxury codo, resturants & stores.

Hollywood Beach will soon be the new home of Jimmy Buffett's, "MARGARITAVILLE BEACH RESORT"

Neil, you must come back, it's time for a "CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE"
