Brother Myron Labelle or known by his stage name Mel Labbe passed on I'm told last friday after a long bout with emphazima..He was 62,retired from the Air Force and living at the Charlton Masonic Home where he was head grounds keeper.Myron was an outstanding fiddle player and keyboard player for some of the best Rock groups in Ct.He took up steel for a few years and did pretty well but never played outside his home with it. He and his wife stayed with us for a couple of winters after I cleared out a place for his 40' Prevost..He joined the Forum while staying with us after I gave him my old computer and he loved the Forum..Myron was born and raised in Baton Rouge LA/..He settled in New England after he retired from Uncle Sams Air Force.R.I.P. old friend..
