I'm looking for a lap steel, one that I can afford. As I get older my pedal Steel keeps getting heaver everytime I play. so I'm looking for something I can carry around and still have fun playing.

The Ric to which I refer appears to be a prewar model six string Bakelite with strings thro' the body and the wider 1.5 pickup.

The white panels and the painted frets might mislead someone to think it's a newer or later post war edition.

I have several and I know of no guitar that can even begin to compare with any of them.
