I'm trying to fade out the ending on a track but it won't let me fade more than 4 Bars. Any suggestions. Thanks Eddie

Freeze the track to Audio, take the resultant WAV file and put in Audacity and Fade as much of the track as you want to.

Thanks Bill for the suggestion but I could load it into Sonar and do the same thing. I was trying to get BIAB to do it to see what it would do but 4 Bars just isn't enough. I don't know if that is a Default figure or what. Anyone else had any luck with doing a Fade out in BIAB....Thanks Eddie

Ok, I got the fade out working to an acceptable level but the Real Track Drums stay at an unaceptable level at the end. Any suggestions on this...Thanks Eddie

May I revive this thread? I am trying to fade the ending of a simple backing track. BIAB suggests a typical fade of 6 bars, but when I try this, the volume is inaudible after one bar. Is it possible to adjust the rate of fade? If so, how? Thanks.

David, I seldom use the create a 2 or 4 bar ending with BIAB. I would suggest: right click on the bar where the fade will begin. Select song settings, disable the 2 bar ending feature. An example would be(Togather Again @ 86 BPM). I right clicked bar # 10, I selected Bar settings, fade all insts. 5%. The song slowly faded to nothing by bar # 20. To reverse the fade select increase all insts. volume by 5%. I hope this helps, however you now will need to manage an ending. Smile If you need help with that, P.M. me on the forum.---------Leon

Just got to bar settings where you want the fade to begin and to to all instruments and then select "Fade by" and put in a number like 20 and it will fade out in a few bars.
