I will be in Katy Tx for two weeks from May 23 until June 5. Anything going on in that area for the steel guitar ?

Willis, The Southeast Texas Steel Guitar Club meets the first Sunday of most months in Katy. There is an open jam that's a ton of fun. Regular players are, Jody Sanders, Billy Phelps, Patti Phelps, Bobby Bowman, Jody Cameron, and sometimes, Darla Cameron on vocals.
The dates you mentioned would include Sunday, June 4th. So, do check it out.
