Looking at other threads of pics showing insides of these vp's, the angeled bracket thats mounted with a sloted screw head that looks to be a string guide, mine disnt have that screw head. Is mine an earlier version or bracket with screw was lost and replaced with something else?....also I see where some use fly fishing line as replacement, where would I find the original replacement? chime in shobud guys.....thanx to all

I use yellow masonry twine, from the lumber store. 2 years and counting hasn't gave out yet. Wink

thanx so much guys for the tips, still im puzzled on the, whats looks like a slotted screw head that ive seen in pics, that mine dosnt have, just a 'L shaped bracket with a groove cut into it, kinda homemade looking

My Sho-bud pedal also has the slotted head guide, I've only seen a few of them opened up, but I thought they all have the same style. Not sure, but yours may have been altered a little.

LOL, great question, it does, i would like to find the proper bracket, the slot screw head looks to hold the string in place, my setup was done before i bought it,....I know i can get anal about things but I like things right when I can. May have to dust off the lathe an make one I guess if i cant find replacement part
