Hi,
Need some parts for an ailing Aria strinmaster clone. One pickup is not working, saddles very worn, switch very dodgy. Anybody got any fender or clone parts for sale. I presume Loller, could rewind the pup/s, In Uk so I suppose somebody like bare knuckle could do a job, any info welcome.

I'd recommend Stewart-MacDonald for all your needs. Since it's six string instrument, you shouldn't have many problems finding replacement parts. However, if I'm wrong, please post photos of the parts you're seeking so we can help further. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Topic title changed due to advice to avoid confusion.
The switch I talk about is an added mod and is a Les Paul type 3 way, so that is easy. allows neck or bridge or both pickups to be selected, _________________ Guyatone HG-91, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Ernie Ball Jr volume pedal. |

Sent the faulty pickup to be rewound to Bare Knuckle here in the UK, they discovered the bobbin is badly damaged and they do not have a suitable one with the correct bobbin screw taps. At a lost to know where to find a replacement. _________________ Guyatone HG-91, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Ernie Ball Jr volume pedal. |

I'm not familiar with the finer details of the Aria clone, but apparently if Bare Knuckle can't help, then its not a common off the shelf size and spacing. With that in mind, your going to need a full service winder that is capable of doing custom work and or find something you can adapt.
Besides Lollar, on this side of the pond we have Pete Biltoft at Vintage Vibe that winds a good pickup and does custom work. _________________ Some misc pics of my hand crafted steels
