Hello Pete,
I might be interested if it's still available. I'm playing a nice D10 Dekley now but I need to find something that I can actually lift and pack around. Are you the original owner?

Rick, or any one else,if you are thinking of buying this PSG, you have no worries.
I have owned one for several years now and it has done all I could have asked of it. It is light enough so it wont break your back yet solid enough to not move around on stage.
The sound is right up there with with any PSG i've played. doesnt break strings, and pedal action is very smooth and responsive. I hate to see one go this cheap, but I suppose it is a sign of the times .

I see this is a GFI-II pickup...what the difference between the 2 and 3?

Brian, it's a humbucker.

Eddie, thanks. Can't argue with anything you said.
It plays like butta. Smile

Dave, from the GFI website:
"Our pickups are double coil humbuckers made by George "L" to our specifications. The GFI-II, standard on all models except 12 strings, is comparable to a slightly heavier version of the E-66. They provide a full frequency range with excellent clarity and note separation. The GFI-I is available as an option for all models and is comparable to a slightly lighter version of the E-66. The GFI-III is available as an option for all Professional Models. It's output is approximately the same as the GFI-II, but with a little brighter tone without any loss of bass at the low end. "

Pete, one more question, I have to move the floor pedals over to the right foot, is that posible with this guitar? It sounds crazy, but I did my sho bud this way 35 years ago and learn to play that way due to polio in my left foot, so its much easier for me to use volume pedal on my left foot.Maybe this is a question for GFI, do u know if they have a web site? Thanks

Rick, I'm no expert but I would think you could do it. I believe it's just a matter of moving the cross shafts down to the
changer end and cutting down the pull rods. You might also have to move the right knee lever cross shafts???
I do know the pedal bar will accommodate it. GFI's are very easy to work on.

Perhaps someone with a little more knowledge can chime in on this but to me, it looks doable.

I did on a Expo and it was real easy. Not sure on the Ultra though. When I talked to GFI a couple of years ago, they said they had never been asked to set one up with the pedals on the right side. So I didn't order one from them.

I can attest to the great tone of this guitar & the lack of string breakage & it's staying in tune !!! & Rick,i know that they can be set up with pedals on the right as i have a good friend that i sometimes gig with here in the MB-area that plays a keyless GFI Ultra set up like that....He ordered his new from GFI(this was around 2003 i think) so i'm sure they can help you with that...if it were'nt for some upcoming med bills,i'd loved to have bought this one...beautiful guitar...

I’ve played this guitar not long ago when Pete brought it over to my house and we were comparing guitars, amps, etc.

I thought his GFI was very user-friendly, easy to play & sounded terrific!
