It's been an incredible journey for me, starting 9 months ago at age 64. I have made much more progress than I dreamed possible, and am having more musical fun than I have had in years. A big "Thanks" to Bernie Kelley who loaned me a guitar to get started.

I hope you enjoy my rendition of "Born To Lose"

I have a total of 22 songs on Soundcloud, starting at my fifth week with "Talk Back Trembling Lips". The songs on this page are chronological from oldest to newest if you are interested and can be found at

Hi Pete, I've been listening to your playing for quite
a while now, and I've noticed you really came along
very nice in such a short time. Now you just need to
find a little group to play with, and really put what
you've accomplished to the real enjoyment. I always
enjoy what you post. Keep up the good work. Smile Carl

Pete, I've been at it for 37 years, do you give lessons, now how far is Davie, Fla. from Centerville, Ga.?

You're only 9 months in to playing steel, you're doing great, keep up the recordings.
