So I am going to be trading my BMI steel which is an extended E9 (4 and 5) for an MSA Classic U12 (7 and 5).
Does anyone have any experience with MSA Classics? This one has been updated to a 3 up and 3 down changer. Everything looks good on it. Just wondering what everyones thoughts where on MSA classics.
Also, anyone have good resources for universal grips and B6 notes in general?
Thanks! |

I have an MSA Classic D10 and it is not only well built and stays in tune but it's built to make changes easy. It is a heavy guitar but, I like it because it sits still when you're playing it. Some others I've seen tend to move right and left as you push against a knee because they are so light. |

I had the vintage classic "the universal". I believe it was one of the last guitars made from that era. - 83 or so.
It was one of the more mechanically stable guitars I've ever owned. |

I had an MSA classic era single 12. Great guitar. I now own a 2010 Studio Pro.
As far as materials - Joe Wright has extensive U-12 material - videos, books. I took C6 material and applied it to B6, it's very easy to do. _________________ Christopher Woitach

Thanks for the replies. It has a true tone pickup in it...I hear those are alright. |
