I have a friend that does not do any computer so therefore he does not have The Steel Guitar Forum available. He is wanting to find out what Carl Smith recording's are available that feature both Curly and Siebert playing steel on the same cut's. I am aware of Carl's anniversary album but don't know which cut's feature both steel guitars. Anyone help me for my friend? Thanks, Dave A. Burley _________________ Dave A. Burley

There was an album entitled "I Love You Because" by Carl Smith which featured both those player's. It is an excellent album. I believe it was Columbia record. |

Around '69 or '70 Columbia put out a 20th Anniversary couble album with cuts with Johnny, Curly and some with Jim Murphy. One of my treasured albums. |
