I recorded a simple version of The Star Spangled Banner today. The performance is pretty marginal. This is one of the more complicated pieces I have learned so far and I still fumble with it quite a bit. I think this may be a good song for beginners because it involves a good bit of pedal and lever action and moving around on the neck, which makes it a good exercise, it is a tune just about everyone is familiar with and is a tune that lends itself to personalization and bits of flair as a player's technique advances. I hope some beginners will enjoy having the tab to help them get started.

The video is available at http://youtu.be/y4HyFlma97g.

Below is the corresponding tablature that I created with Tabledit. A PDF of the same tabs is available at http://jsbpedalsteelguitar.s3.amazonaws.com/StarSpangledBanner.pdf
