I just purchased an 8 string lap steel guitar and would love too learn how to read the tabs!Can some one provide me with simple instructions on how too read and understand the tabs!I would appreciate any help on the subject!Thanks

I am in search of tabs for the 8 string L.S.G./non-pedal!I purchased the instrument several mos ago, so you can see i am a bit lost! Any and all help is highly appreciated!

Did you see the "sticky note" posted at the top of this Tablature section called "Understanding PSG Tab"? You may find that helpful.
Also, most books that contain tab have an explanation of how to read the tab. If you visit Scotty's Music website, or call them, you will find courses available.
You might also try Googling phrases like "reading guitar tablature" or "steel guitar tablature" to see if you find helpful explanations.
