All are invited. Same place as before, the "El Arco Iris" restaurant, 5680 York Blvd in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles.

I'll be posting more details and driving directions as the date approaches.

Mike, this year it's on April 29th, a Saturday, is that right? That's a tougher day for guys with gigs...the few guys that are lucky enough to have a gig. So maybe this isn't the issue it used to be! I just seem to recall most PerlJam's happening on Sundays...

John, the restaurant's new owner (the son of the former owner) specifically asked me to hold it on Saturday rather than Sunday.

Maybe if enough people show up that he sells enough meals to make a significant amount of money from us, he'll let us expand the jam to the entire weekend next year.

The restaurant has been closed for remodeling since January 1. It was supposed to re-open Feb 1, but the process took far longer and cost far more than was expected. It's open now, but the owner has a lot on his mind, and this is the wrong time to approach him about changing plans.

I really should go someday. I've met so many good people from there...

I've actually never set in the state of Tennessee.

Maybe some day I'll take a vacation there. I want to see both Nashville and Memphis.

Hey Billy Easton, sure glad you're joining us again, and hopefully bringing that lovely and charming wife of yours. And do bring all the "Zonies" you can!

David Wren, I hope you can get a van full of NoCal pickers down here. I used to live in Hayward, so I might even know some of the rascals you drag along.

For you non-pedalers, Hank Mann (leader of the Hula Monsters) tells me he's coming to jam with his wicked licks and multi-neck Fender or whatever.
