Well the months have flown by and it's almost time for the 6th annual Southern Illinois Steel Guitar Show.
April 20, 21 & 22 will see a lot of steel players, fans and followers in the Benton, Il civic center for what promises to be a great 3 days of music.
In case nobody on the S. Il productions staff hasn't already posted the line-up, here it is in brief.
Thursday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM SIGN IN JAM!
5:30 to 9:30 Various and variety shows W/Steel Followed by volunteer jam
Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Scheduled new comers.
6:00 to 10:00 Several featured acts and players such as Lynn Owsley, Ron Elliott, Jackpot Country, The Country Showboys and more. Followed by a super jam. Confirmed to be in the building and available to jam are Russ Hicks, Randy Beavers,Joe Wright, Don Helms and more.
SATURDAY 9:30AM to 10:00 PM or to ??????
Scheduled acts include--- Joe Wright, Ron Elliott, Lynn Owsley, Don Helms, Don Curtis, Randy Beavers, Russ Hicks and many more including a special show featuring Earl Erb on guitar.

Come one come all. Can't afford the 89 dollar rooms at St. Louis and Dallas and Phoenix. Come on down to Benton towards the end of April and get a room for less than half that and what is even better, Free Parking!
And by the way some of the same Super Pickers are included.

If you have been to our past shows you won't want to miss this one it might be our best so far. Good entertainment good fellowship and lots of stories from great players.
