The one thing that has eluded me for the past couple of years are the use of the B&C pedals. The Jeffran courses teach A&B pedal and D&F levers licks and phrases but doesn't cover many B&C pedal licks. Can some of you possibly post tab of your favorite B&C pedal licks and phrases.

Even though I'm a relative beginner, the B&C combo is my favorite, and I always mess around and find new licks with them. They're great for putting 3rds (3rd and 4th string), 6ths (6th and 4th string) and 4ths (C pedal only on 4&5) in licks.

Here's one in E

~ = Legato (Slide or press/release pedal)

5|---------------12-------------12-----------12C~12-----------
6|-----------------------------------12----------------12-------

And another

Heres one of my favorites, from Bruce Bouton's DVD. One fret slide up, then two frets sliding down, using the top two strings in a very cool way in the middle. Very Happy

Thanks for posting these as I need to exploit those pedals more. Look forward to trying them.

Here's a classic use of the BC pedals that will lead you into a lot of jazz improv.
