Great amp, a favorite of Ry Cooder.
Actually about 12 watts though.

I just looked on the top of the amp today and it says clearly 65 watts...don't know why you think 12 watts

No way could two 6v6's produce 65 watts. 65 watts is the power consumption from the wall, not the output power. (A session 400 says 600watts on the back, but it produces 200 watts)

Either way, I'd love to play through that amp, I'm sure it sounds great. Pretty similar to an early tweed deluxe.

The GA-20 puts out between 12 and 14 watts RMS power with two 6V6's and a tube rectifier. That's the beauty of it! Sweet sound with a bit of distortion!

I played steel thru one one these in the 50's. It was sweet. Granted we didn't play at volume levels of today.

Great little amp with what I got to riff through it rather quickly, professionally packed as well as timely shipping. Ron was easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with, an A plus guy in my book.
