Just a note, I joined the Steel Guitar Forum. It is an awesome site. I am a lifelong Accordion player and recently took up the non-pedal lap steel. I have a 1947 Gibson BR-4, rewound the pickup and new pots, but just hasn't the sound I wanted and is noisy. My new one is a Rogue Red Jersey Lightning and so far I love the sounds coming from it, and lack of 'noise'. I'm retired now and just love the Steel Guitar. This site is a wealth of info and all the guys I've read are all gentlement and the ladies are all ladies, enthused about the steel guitar and eager to share. To all you who can play the steel, I commend you!!

Hi Andy....... I do think you're absolutely correct. : ) Thanks again for the zip file with your 68 country songs. Been playing them and all is well. I love 'em. This will be a challenge, but fun..........
Graham

Thank You Gary Lynch......... for the kind words and pointers. I feel very welcomed and comfy here. I've used BandinBox since the 90s when it came on floppy disks, and already found links for thousands of songs on here in zip files on their forum. There's so much help and advice here. Thanks again Gary for the welcome, Graham.
