Survey: Do trained musicians make more dough?

Let's get some numbers. I'm doing this as a project for my senior statistics class in business school. We want to know if those without music degrees or other sorts of institutionalized training make similar amount of money or if they don't earn as much. We'll post our results here but please take it if you are currently earning any sort of revenue from writing or performing music.
