Hi everybody
I got a Wechter/Scheerhorn Dobro with a Schertler Pickup build in. The first PU that sounds like a real Dobro!Since I'm using it with a loud drummer/ band, I have terrible feedback-problems!
Have someone any experience with the Fishman Aura DI? Can I get the feedback-problems under control with the Fishman? Any other ideas???
Thanx for all your help

No...You'll need the Fishman bridge pickup to really drive the Spectrum well. Taking the cone out of the equation solves the feedback issue and the Douglas pickup accomplishes that.

You'll have to experiment with eq, anti-feedback devices, etc if you intend to stick with the Schertler.

You can probably solve you're feedback problem, but I'm not sure you'll be happy with the JD rig as it was designed to work with the Nashville pick up system. I have a Wechter, too...but I elected to go with a Gretsch resonator equipped with a Nash to use with the JD Aura pedal. I'm completely pleased with it.
