Finally able to touch base with all the support facilities here on the Mississippi Coast today. Sad to say that our April 1st show must be cancelled due to lots of work being done in the building- and the hotel/motel situation is still not able to properly support the out of town guests.
I will inform all of you again when the next DSSGA event will be held here in Gulfport. Things are getting better, but it is a slow process. We will have big reasons to really celebrate at our next Deep South Function.
I want to urge all to support the various shows that are going on all over. Thanks.

April Fools joke right Bill? Well, I guess I can look at this two ways. Good and Bad. Good because I wouldn't be able to attend, bad because ya'll won't have a show. Good as it builds up more anticipation for the next, bad because we have to wait. Ugh! I'm torn! Just let me know when the next show is. I'll try to make it until then.

Just a note to folks that don't know.
The damage caused by this storm won't all be repaired in just months, this may take 10 years plus to rebuild the coast. But rest assured the hard working folks here will pull together and make it right.

| Man,what a let down! No April show.But,I know the June show will be worth waiting for!There ain't much to do in Chunky,MS or Meridian,as far as that goes.See ya'll in June. |

The shows in Gulfport are so much fun, I wish they could do it every week. Bill and Miss Betty are wonderful hosts, and really work hard to get a big line up of exceptional players. Of course if Bill was the only one it would still be worth the trip. Can hardly wait for the next one.
