I got to check out Lee Jeffriess back in action on steel guitar with Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys tonight. Lee sounded great on the slef refinished Wright guitar(were talkin mica to new maple cabinet SWEET!!) Defenitly a classic zany B S A T FRB night by any standards. Loved it. These are show people, coming to a theatre near you. Treat them nicely. |

Ah!! is he back on a permanant basis now? I saw Lee a couple of times with Big Sandy and he and the guitar player (forget his name off the top of my head) are a PERFECT fit. |

Yes the guitar player is Ashley Kingman and he and Lee are a MATCH made in Heaven....they play sooooo well together and I'm thrilled Lee is back with Big Sandy.
I of course dig Jimmy Roy too....He'da man....but Lee and Ashley did so much ground work with Big Sandy and great that it's back to that.
