Mullen did not make a LOT of these custom 2/4 Pickup guitars...this is one of them. It was custom made for Earl Briggs, and has his name on the front apron, in inlaid pearl. Its setup as EXE9 but the pedal bar was tapped for Universal Setup...I have personally torn this guitar down, totally cleaned and set to factory specs..
This guitar plays and sounds fabulous....its a rare bird...Will setup to your specs, shipping not included in price..

Mickey,
For those of us not smart enough to know, are the two extra strings lower than than low B or where do they fit in. In other words, can you play the first 10 strings just as a E9, 10 string? If so, someone as myself may be able to adjust OK to the 12 string.

Have you played it enough to know if it stays in tune or does it take allot of tweaking?

Keith....It has no flaws, and yes its a 10 string E9 with a third G# at 11, and a third E at 12...I rebuilt it a year ago...the guy I sold it to just got a new Rittenberry, and G2 12 strings...plus he has 3 other guitars...he just had to let 1 go...I wanted this one...Smile

Mickey, would this be a pre-RP model?

Dang, not one but TWO narrow pickup cavities. Still, twin pickups is cool. Can they be blended?

I am wanting to purchase my first pedal steel. I've played guitar for many years. This steel is priced within my budget. I'm leaning toward the Mullen SD10 RP model. What are the differences between that model and this instrument? (besides the obvious additional strings)
Thanks
