Before I head to the hardware store, is anyone selling 1/2" liftkits? Sho-Bud, 3 pedals. |

Check what I wrote on the "NO LIFT KIT NEEDED". It is a cheap, no brainer, way to do it. I lifted mine around 1", and it works great. You might have to cut down the couplings a little, but for a 1/2 inch it will work. I just tilted my Kline a little bit. I'm 6'2", and the slight tilt was all I needed. 1/2" ain't much. The tilt on mine also keeps the bar from rolling off the back ledge. Also made for a more comfortable right hand position.
As you can see, ,, not much tilt at all.

I am a long legged 6'1" and installed a 2" lift kit that got the body of the guitar off of my knees, but put the pedals at a bad angle. I just ordered some 1 1/2" rod extensions from:
http://www.alliedelec.com
They call them standoffs, and I got 10/32 M/F to fit my Stage One. I think that decreasing the pedal angle by 1/2" will improve my playing. |
