I've read several threads about the THR on this forum. I'd like to know if anyone can tell me how one sounds vs the Fender Mustang I or the Mustang Mini.

The THR has hit my radar because I'm moving overseas and I want a lap steel amp that works well as an iPod dock through the AUX jack.

I LOVE the tones in the Mustang I. It's also excellent with headphones and for use with the AUX IN. However, it is a bit too large pack in my luggage. My Vox DA5 is tiny but has a useless headphone jack (volume too low, noisy).

The Mustang Mini runs on batteries, has more amp models and effects and is less expensive. It's the same guts as the Mustang I.

The only advantage to the THR, until I can compare the tones, is that it is stereo, so it seemingly would make it better for playing an mp3 player or while watching a movie on my laptop.

So, tell me, what's the big deal with the THR?
