Getting into the holiday spirit, this is a song I wrote and recorded for some friends who had invited me to dinner. Since I was too broke (or cheap?) to buy a gift, I thought I'd record a song for them, one that was personal, but which also conveyed a little bit of the holiday spirit. The song that came out was "Jingle Bells". This is a bit different from what many of you may be used to for a Christmas song, so here are a couple of ideas on how to listen to this: Especially at the beginning, listen carefully to each note, how it opens, flows, and to the sound of the note decaying. Listen, if possible, to the space in between the notes and how it effects the pacing of the piece. Finally, Jingle Bells. I hope you enjoy the song.

And that is a good thing.
I like it. I enjoy a lot of music that is a bit different from what many are used to. Your Jingle Bells reminds me of something really abstract that Robert Fripp or Brian Eno would do.
