| Well I guess I better tell you all what a great time we had in Dallas. Linda and I have never been to the show in Dallas. Shame on us. We had such a great time. Everyone one was so nice to us. I got to pick with some of my favorite people and had a ball doing so. The talent on this show just knocked us out. To work with my dear friends was a hoot. ALbert should be very proud of the job he and his crew did this year. I will have to say that standing on the same stage with Junior Knight was a bit of a problem. He is so talented that maybe I should have left "Ole Red" in the case. Thanks again Texas for a great time and we hope to do it again next year. Love to all, Bobby and Linda |

It's about time you made it down here.

What a wonderful surprise and delight it was to have Bobby and Linda down here in Texas. These two are some of our closest friends and along with them from Missouri came two more of our close friends, John and Lynn Farrell. What a great time we had. Bobby's guitar playing is a work of art. We're gonna hold you to it Bobby, we want you to come back to Texas next year.
By the way, Bobby and I were born on the same date in June, but let it be known "he is older than me".

Wow!!!!....this book is HARD...I;m already on the third page...not to bad for a weeks work! But by the time you get here next year....I will have *Little Glow Worm* down!!!

By golly Bobby, I think the truth is finally known. I think you must have copied one of Lyn Volners "phonebook-size" fake books that we learned songs from back in the 1950s. I never could have learned "Take The A-Train" without it. I have to admit that I was having a rough time learning "Girl From Ipanema" by hearing it on the radio. I was able to borrow the sheet music and learn it.
It's a good thing you slipped that little book to Junior.

| I do have to tell everyone that the book I gave Junior Knight on stage was a Mel Bay Book 1. Last I heard he is working real hard on the first few pages and we will review real soon. What fun. Bobby |
