My only question is the use of a speaker with a horn. I find that the horn accents the highs but whatever works for you is is OK. Is this for recording, live play in the home all of th above?
I have a Genze Benz Shenendoa acoustic guitar amp with a horn and luckily it has a switch to shut the horn off. When I play acoustic I leave the horn on (nice vibe) but with a steel I shut the horn off. YMMV

I have one that I use along with a Behringer Keyboard amp that I am playing backing tracks and singing through, and it sounds great to me. I haven't tried it with an instrument, as it was designed for full range applications. _________________ Justice The Judge SD-10, 2007

Cabs with horns work fine if you have some sort of speaker simulation which the Eleven has, I`m sure... _________________ Olli Haavisto

I haven't had a problem with the horn on the Mackie. I just want to utilize the stereo possibilities affordably. Probably, using a power amp and two passive speakers is better, not sure. _________________ Christopher Woitach
