Hello Fellow Steelers.
I'm announcing the Intermediate to advanced E9th seminar at the Phoenix Show. I have been asked to quickly put a seminar together as Doug Jernigan has decided not to put on a seminar, but will be at the show. I am however very excited to fill in. The class will be on Friday from 1:30 to 5pm and the room will be announced as we all arrive. I'll be providing tabs, backing tracks, cd's, etc in a notebook. We will be intermediate and above and I've got some great licks in mind to help with fills, some C6th chord voicings, and a nice speed picking song that will be a tester, but I'll give 1/2, 3/4, and full speed backing tracks to play along with and learn it well. I am also thinking of doing a nice version of "I love you because" with fat chords on E9th. You can bring your steel, your seat, and headphone amp with headphones or....an amp that will silence when you plug in headphones. The cost is 40.00 for the afternoon and you can purchase the seminar when you check in. I'd be thankful if you'd post here if you're coming, or email me at larry@westtexassteelguitarschool.com . Either way I'll no how many notebooks & stuff to prepare for. I promise a great time and if you have some lick or song you've just been dying to learn.....then post it here and I'll see what I can do for the first 3 or 4 that are coming. If you need to call me that's fine too and my cell is 325-518-3947. Looking forward to playing at the show, the seminar, and seeing everyone again. Gimme a shout and we'll learn some good stuff!
Oh yes,,,, you can see and hear the speed pickin' lick on my website.

Thanks so much for offering this class. We at SWSGA really appreciate it!
I will try to make the seminar, that is if I can sneak away from the many dealings of the show. I love your speed-picking clip on your website, www.westtexassteelguitarschool.com, and I plan to enroll in one of your Texas PSG classes in the near future.
Peg & I look forward to visiting with you & Susie, and Steve & Donna at the show. It's a long drive from Merkel, but I know Steve will keep you awake with some great steel guitar conversations!! Be safe! |

The link works fine...but apparently the post above is putting a comma at the end of the web address. Take out the comma after you hit it and it works fine. You can use the link in my earlier post which works fine.
