Tonight the Fed Ex man brought me a little green Elf. Hooked it into my Rick Johnson cabinet with a Travis Toy 15" speaker. Turned the knobs twice and had a pretty good but dry sound. I hooked up my reverb and delay and it blew me away. An awesome sound. I then figured $250 speaker, $250 box, $150 pedal $299 Elf. $949 total. Ok not cheap but it weighs nothing and your wife can carry it. I like it. |

Dale, that was fast. After seeing my Elf Thursday night, you said you had been thinking about trying one. Quiet something for such a tiny little thing isn't it. I carry mine in my gear bag as a backup for my Stereo Steel. I am glad that you like it. |

Yes, I read that Peavy bought the Trace Elliott company 14 years ago. |

Barry, as stated in an earlier post, great minds think alike. You and I have the exact same setup.....Black Box, Wet Reverb, RV-3. |

I like mine a lot, that's a 12" Eminence 2112 (I think that's the model) speaker, in a closed back enclosure. I use a Zoom G3 for a preamp/effects unit. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
