I will be playing this Saturday night in Brooklyn with the very cool and interesting band Pinataland, at Barbes.

Pinataland
Saturday, March 4th, 10:00pm
Barbes 376 9th Street (at 6th Avenue) in Park Slope

This band is not at all country, but has great songs, cool instrumentation -- guitar, piano, drums, steel and tuba, and plays songs that recount strange events from history: Mormon murders, shipwrecks, and musings from the perspective of a lovelorn astronaut. And it is free, although a donation is always nice.
http://pinataland.com/

Killer Bob Hoffnar can be heard on some of the clips, I believe. Check out "East River Slocum Disaster".

Would love to see you there!

Hard core country and a little blues and rock just to spice up the show. George Jones is in the big show room tonight warming up the crowd for us. LOL...
