Myself and my wife Marilyn wish each of our music friends and the steel guitar family a very Merry Christmas from the frigid north, Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. Last night, it was -29C / -20F and today it warmed up to -19C / -2F. I must say it is pretty, overlooking the foothills and the white mountains on the horizon, but when we get older, we are more after comfortable than pretty. We have absolutely no mosquitoes and a ground covering of snow. Having said that, it will be 8 sleeps till we head south to Mesa Arizona, 1 – to get away from the cold, 2 – to get good seats for the SWSGA steel show in Phoenix, can hardly wait. From our house to yours, a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2013.
Cheers, Neil |

Somewhat uncharacteristically you are almost as cold as we are three hours further north. But you can count on a nice warn chinook wind coming along - we are too far from the mountains for that.
All the best for the holidays and I look forward to chatting with you in Phoenix in a few weeks. |
