As I announced a few weeks ago, Ralph Mooney will be playing a 4 hour dance in Mingus, Tx on April 1st at the historic Trio Club with my band that recorded an lp with him back in 1982 called COUNTRY THE WEST COAST WAY. A special guest will be in the audience who performed with Ralph in California back in the early 60's. I am speaking of Mr. Vern Stovall. Vern put out some great records and wrote some great songs such as "Long Black Limousine" and "One More Memory" which is on our album. On Vern's early Longhorn records from around 1962, you will find the great early steel guitar work of Lloyd Green. If you are in the area, drop by the Trio Club April 1 to see the King, Ralph Mooney.

Greetings to all,
Joe Bielinski

Hi Joe. That sounds cool. I thought Ralph wasn't playing anymore. This may be one of the rare times he gets out. If I'm in the area, I may drop in.
BTW, I heard your interview with Jim Ed Brown yesterday. I really enjoyed it. That one song you played "Lift Tab, Pull Open" (I think that was to title)was awesome. Where could I find a copy of that? Knowing you, that song is so rare, Jim Ed probably doesn't even have a copy

Hey Joe, sure good to see you on here. Wish I could be there to see the Moon, but retirement wages prevent it. Hope you have a full house. Also wish we could get your show up here. Is there any chance that your show will be on the web? Later on Mayor of Mingus. Would love to see you again.
