Here are some photos of a Rick DW12 that was recently restored by Rusty Thompson at Rusty's Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the extremely moldy condition this steel was in but I did see it first hand and can tell you that it was a total mess. The case was white inside with rotting paper stuck between steel and the bottom of the case, the steel itself had mold growing on it and the red color of the case fuzz had leached a pink hue over the entire steel. The metal parts were very tarnished and the whole thing smelled like hell. Rusty disassembled the entire guitar and cleaned every part including the tuner pans and individual machine heads. The wiring was corroded so Rusty rewired it completely but was able to restore and reuse the original pots, switch and p'ups. This restoration took three full days of work. Rusty is a renowned guitar repairman in Cincinnati and I highly recommed his services for any type of guitar repair.
